Abstract
There is a significant interest in the simulation possibilities of injection moulding for metal injection moulded products. Therefore, in this research, an injection moulding simulation is carried out on a 17-4PH type material and validated by real tests. From the results obtained, we can conclude on the correctness of the simulation. Changing the parameters of the injection moulding can have a significant effect on the shrinkage factor. Changing the mould temperature, the melt temperature and the holding pressure have an effect on the dimensions of the product. These parameters will also be changed in a simulation setup and compared with previous real measurement results, mainly in character.
