Abstract

A tanulmány alapját az 1973 nyarán, a terhességmegszakítás jogi szabályozása status quo-ja védelmében létrejött aláírásgyűjtési-akció történeti elemzése adja. Ennek nyomán vizsgálom a formálódó demokratikus ellenzék csoportszerveződési mechanizmusait, önálló cselekvési körét, valamint a hatalommal szembeni ellenállás lehetőségeit a reziliencia és az Eigen-Sinn fogalmak segítségével. A Kádár-korszak első alulról szerveződő, 1553 aláírást összegyűjtő akciója nem kanonizálódott az ellenzék történetében, mint az önszerveződés origója, mint identitásképző aktus, csak 2010 után került a köztudatba, mint a magyar államszocializmus egyetlen feminista indíttatású megmozdulása. A Blinken OSA archívumban őrzött, egykori résztvevőkkel készült videóinterjúk elemzése alapján arra a kérdésre keresem a választ, hogy mennyiben járult hozzá a petíció a demokratikus ellenzék formálódásához, illetve ez az akció miért lett tabusítva az ellenzék rendszerváltást követő történetében? A tagolt, kollektív érdekérvényesítésre képtelen társalomban miért éppen ez az ügy vált az osztályhovatartozást és egyéb érdekellentéteket felülíró kérdéssé, amely képes volt összefogni a legkülönbözőbb agendával rendelkező egyéneket és csoportokat? Hipotézisem szerint az 1956-os, megengedő abortuszszabályozás védelmében született petíció nem lehetett az ellenzék identitásának fundamentuma, mivel a demokratikus ellenzék belesimult a fennálló patriarchális politikai kultúrába, és nem kérdőjelezte meg annak gender-hierarchiáit, csupán a fennálló államszocialista rendszert. Vagyis az akcióban résztvevők elsődleges kapcsolódási pontjának a rendszerrel, hatalommal való szembenállást, az ellenzékiséget tekintem. | The study is based on a historical analysis of the petition launched in the summer of 1973 in defense of the status quo in the legal regulation of abortion. I examine the group organization mechanisms and autonomous action of the emerging democratic opposition, as well as the possibilities of resistance to power using the concepts of resilience and Eigen-Sinn. The first grassroots action of the Kádár era, which collected 1,553 signatures, was not canonized in the history of the opposition as the origin of self-organization, as an act of identity formation, and only after 2010 did it come to be publicly regarded as the only feminist movement of Hungarian state socialism. Based on the analysis of the video interviews with former participants preserved in the Blinken OSA archive, I seek to answer the question: to what extent did the petition contribute to the formation of the democratic opposition, and why did this action become taboo in the history of the opposition after the regime change? In a fragmented society incapable of collective advocacy, why did this very issue become the one that overrode class and other conflicts of interest and was able to unite individuals and groups with the most diverse agendas? My hypothesis is that the 1956 petition in defense of enabling abortion regulation could not have been the foundation of the opposition’s identity, because the democratic opposition was embedded in the existing patriarchal political culture and did not question its gender hierarchies, only the existing state socialist system. In other words, I consider the primary point of contact of the participants of the action to be opposition to the system and power, or dissent.
