Abstract
What is COST action E30? COST is an intergovernmental framework for European co-operation in the field of scientific and technical research, allowing the co-ordination of nationally funded research on a European level. COST is formed of Actions, which cover basic and pre- competitive research as well as activities of public utility. COST action E30 “Economic integration of urban consumers’ demand and rural forestry production” is one of the largest COST actions thus far under the domain on forests and forestry products. COST action E30 has 21 participating countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
