Abstract

Befejeztem a térképszerver programok fejlődésének vizsgálatát, ezen eredmények felhasználásával választottuk ki a tanszék új webszerverének (az 1995 óta folyamatosan működő lazarus.elte.hu-nak) hardver- és szoftverkörnyezetét, melynek beszerzése részben ebből a pályázatból volt lehetséges. A felsőfokú kartográfiai oktatás lehetőségeit folyamatosan bővítjük a webkartográfia új eredményeinek felhasználásával. A térképészképzés is átalakul a Bologna-rendszerű képzésekre történő átállással, és az új, alapjaiban korszerűsödő tantervbe bekerülő új webkartográfiai hátterű tantárgyak kialakításához a pályázat is nagymértékben hozzájárult. Megvizsgáltuk, hogy a Magyarországhoz hasonló országokban az állami topográfiai térképek webes hozzáférése, illetve a nemzeti térképész szolgálatok internetes megjelenése hogyan valósult meg, különös tekintettel az EU Inspire irányelvének függvényében. Mivel egy hosszú távú, politikai döntésektől is függő folyamat, ezért itt további kutatások is szükségesek. Az említett kutatások eredményeképpen biztonsággal kijelenthető, hogy a webes térképszolgáltatások elterjedése (pl. GoogleMaps) nagymértékben hozzájárul a topográfiai térképek titkosságának megszűnésében egyes országokban. | I have completed the investigation of map server software developments. Using the results of this project, the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics has chosen the software and hardware environment forf its new web server (lazarus.elte.hu has been working since 1995). The purchase of equipment was partially financed by this project. We continuously extend the opportunities of the cartographic higher education using the new results of webcartography. The transition to the Bologna system will also change the cartographic education; our new curriculum is enriched and greatly modernized by the subjects using the results of our webcartography research. We have examined the web accessibility of the state topographic maps in countries that are similar to Hungary as well as the web presence of national mapping services with special attention to the EU's Inspire directive. Meeting these directives is a long-term process depending also on political decisions, so further research will be necessary. Based on our research, we can state that the spread of webmap services is contributing to the cancellation of the secrecy of state topographic maps of a country.
