Abstract

The energy-autocorrelation function is calculated for a screened Coulomb system in equilibrium and the con- tributions of different energy transport channels to the total heat conductivity are explored for magnetized and unmagnetized systems. A special focus is on the time scales of the energy-autocorrelation function which con- tribute to the field-parallel enhancement of heat conduction in strongly coupled plasmas. The investigation is based on first-principle molecular dynamics simulations.
