Abstract
Variety description matrices are studied by a new method. The similarity histograms of the variety pairs of the real variety description matrices were calculated using the distances between the variety pairs and compared with those of the so-called artificial randomization matrices. By the aid of a planned and simulated series of randomization matrices a similarity calibration could be developed and so the level of the general similarity and resemblance of the varieties of the original real variety description matrix could be estimated. The different planned variety descriptions generated by random numbers are produced by an own developed program. Similarly, the series of the sample variety descriptions of different kinds of distributions (uniform, normal), tha calculations, the data of histograms, of distances were made by our programs.
