Abstract

Két kutatási téma elvégzését vállaltuk. Az első kutatás témája a legkorábbi (1800-ban Kolozsváron megjelent) nagy magyar nyelvű analitikai kémiai monográfia szerzője, Nyulas Ferenc kémiai kutatásainak áttekintésére irányult. A témakör összefoglalásához elkészítettük a magyarországi és erdélyi forrásvizek, gyógyvizek elemzésével is foglalkozó kiadványok eddigi legteljesebb bibliográfiáját a kezdetektől 1800-ig, feldolgoztuk a műveket, a legfontosabbak címoldalait is bemutatjuk, s annotációt készítettünk a munkákról. Közreadtuk Nyulas három fontos kémiai publikációját, közülük az egyik egy kéziratban maradt dolgozata. Feldolgoztuk a kémiatörténészek és az orvostörténészek Nyulasra vonatkozó főbb kutatásait, s mindebből egy egységes kötetet szerkesztettünk. Másik kutatásunk a magyar kémiai szaknyelv változásainak kutatására irányult, s ehhez bibliográfiába foglaltuk az 1858-ig megjelent magyar nyelvű kémiai szakmunkákat, gyógyszerészdoktori disszertációkat, a nagyobb kémiai fejezeteket tartalmazó fizikai és természetfilozófiai munkákat, valamint az analitikai kémiával is foglalkozó balneológiai műveket. Ez a fenti időszakról készült eddigi legnagyobb kémiatörténeti bibliográfiánk. Elkészítettük a kémiai elemek magyar megnevezéseinek történeti szótárát, s mintegy félszáz vegytani fogalomra vonatkozó nyelvújítási kezdeményezést követtünk nyomon. A teljes kémiatörténeti-nyelvtörténeti gyűjtésből egységes művet szerkesztettünk. | We agreed to carry out research on two topics. The first research topic was the chemical research of Ferenc Nyulas, who was the author of the earliest Hungarian analytical chemical monography that was published in Cluj - Napolce. In order to summarize the topic, we prepared the so far most complete bibliography of such publications including the analyis of the Hungarian and Transylvanian springs and thermal waters from the beginning until 1800. We show the cover pages of the most important publications and prepared annotations about the works. We published three important chemical publications of Mr. Nyulas one of which remained as a handscript. We have summarized the researches of chemistry and medical historians about Mr. Nyulas and edited a comprehensive book. The other subject area of our research is the changes of the Hungarian chemistry jargon. We prepared a bibliography about the Hungarian chemistry works, pharmaceutical dissertations, physics and natural phylosophy works that contain larger sections of chemical chapters, and balneological books that contain analytical chemistry published before 1858. This is our most comprehensive bibliography about the history of chemistry from this period. We prepared the historical dictionary of the hungarian names of the chemical elements, and we tracked language renewal attempts for more than 50 chemical expressions. We edited a complete book of the results of the chemistry - linguistical history research.
