Abstract
By polarographic method the electroreduction of manganese chloride from chloride and fluoride-chloride melts has been studied in air atmosphere. Optimal parameters of the process were established. In both melts the metallic manganese was obtained. The mechanism of the reduction of manganese – ions is presented.
