Abstract

Az''A modern művészet magyarországi recepciója a 20. század első negyedében. Meller Simon modern metszetvásárlásai a budapesti Szépművészeti Múzeum grafikai gyűjteménye számára.'' c. kutatási program során elkészítettem Meller Simon vásárlásainak műtárgylistáját. Gépre vittem és lábjegyzetekkel láttam el kézíratos naplóját az 1899-1900-as évekből. Kiadására anyagi okokból nem került sor. ''Francia impresszionista művek gyűjtése Magyarországon'' címmel tanulmányt írtam a ''Monet és barátai'' című kiállítás katalógusába (Budapest, 2003), benne Meller tevékenységét is vizsgáltam. A katalógus franciául is megjelent: szerkesztette Geskó Judit ''Amit biztosan tudunk. A Meller Simon - Majovszky Pál páros Van Gogh vásárlásai'' címmel tanulmányt írtam a ''Van Gogh Budapesten'' c. katalógusba. A katalógus angolul is megjelent: szerkesztette Geskó Judit, a szerk. munkatársa Gosztonyi Ferenc. Kutatásokat végeztem Meller vásárlásival kapcsolatosan több párizsi, zürichi, winterthuri, olaszországi és ausztriai archívumban. Ezen kutatások eredményét a 2009-ben New York-ban megrendezésre kerülő (Pierpont Morgan Library) kiállításomban szeretném publikálni. Elkészítettem a 2011-es ''Cézanne-ról és a manierizmusról'' című kiállítás tudományos tervét, benne Meller vásárlásainak jegyzékével. A Toulouse-Lautrec grafikai életművét bemutató kiállítást a Szépművészeti Múzeum Grafikai Gyűjteménye programjábafelvette. Társrendező Gonda Zsuzsanna. | I have prepared the check-list of the prints, aquisitions of Simon Meller for the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts. The manuscript of Meller's Diary is annoteted. No edition until now (financial reason) ''Collecting French Impressionists in Hungary''. Essay for the catalogue ''Monet and friends'' edited by J. Geskó. (Budapest 2003) ''What we know for certain. Van Gogh purchases by Simon Meller and Pál Majovszky.'' Essay for the catalogue ''Van Gogh in Budapest'' edited by J.Geskó. (Budapest 2006) Reserches in archives of Paris, Zürich, Winterthur, Italy, Austria. Results of the reserches will be published in English in the catalogue edited by the Pierpont Morgan Library, New York (2009). The project of the ''Cézanne and the Manierism'' exhibition (Budapest, 2011) is ready, with the check-list of Meller's purchases for the collections of the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts, for himself, and for Pál Majovszky. ''The Prints by Toulouse-Lautrec in the collection of the Printroom of the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts'' (acquisitions of Simon Meller) is in the exhibition program of the museum.
