Abstract

A pályázat célkitűzésének és munkatervének megfelelően elkészült A Magyar Népzene Tára sorozat XI. és XII. kötetének nyomdakész kézirata. A két nagy kötetet, a sorozat korábbi köteteihez hasonlóan a Balassi Kiadó adja ki, várhatóan két éven belül. A magyar népzene kritikai forráskiadásának új, jelentős eredményét jelentő köteteket korábbi OTKA pályázatok folytatásaként sikerült létrehozni. A két kötet a magyar népzene strofikus dallamanyagát adja közre típuskeretbe foglalva, Járdányi Pálnak a strófa dallamrajzán alapuló zenei rendje szerint. A VI–X. kötetek magasról ereszkedő, lejtő kvintváltó típusai után jelen két kötet a magyar népzene régi rétegének azon típusait dolgozza föl, melyeknek középső két sora egymással azonos, vagy hasonló magasságban mozog, így a dallamvonal lejtése nem annyira kifejezett, vagy kisebb mértékű. A XI. kötet (szerk. Domokos Mária) 28 típus 703 dallamát közli, (270 jegyzet-dallammal), a XII. kötet (szerk. Paksa Katalin) 24 típus 793 dallamát (244 jegyzet-dallammal). Elkészült a kották (korrigált) számítógépes kottagrafikája, továbbá a teljes szöveganyag szakmailag ellenőrzött angol fordítása. | The ready-to-print manuscripts of volumes XI and XII of the series Collection of Hungarian Folk Music – Corpus Musicae Popularis Hungaricae have been completed, according to the timing plan of the project. The two bulky volumes, following the previous ones will be published by Balassi Kiadó in two years. Due to the continuous support by the OTKA, that was made possible by the grant following the earlier practice. The volumes at issue which go on with the critical source edition of Hungarian folk music present new and significant scientific results. Strophic music material of Hungarian folk music published here is arranged in musical types, according to Pál Járdányi’s musical system based principally on the melodic contour. After publishing the musical types descending from high and most times presenting a quintal shift structure in volumes VI–X, these two new volumes edit those types of the old layer in which the two inner melodic lines of the strophe are identical or similar to each other, moving at around the same height. The descent of the melody contour in those types are less pregnant or dominant. Volume XI (ed. by Mária Domokos) comprises 703 melodies of 28 types (with 270 more in the notes), vol. XII (ed. by Katalin Paksa) presents 793 melodies of 24 types (and 244 more in the notes). The music which was prepared using a computer graphic system, and the English translation of the full text of the material of both volumes have been controlled and proof-read.
