Abstract
Several studies have already mentioned that geographic crime methods are also suitable for analyzing traffic accidents and crime. However, the theory was not followed by practical work, so like many research topics, it was only stuck at the level of theory. The study is part of a series of studies listing possible areas of research in criminal geography. The present study examines the spatial location of bicycle traffic accidents in the Hungarian capital. It tries to shed light on regularities that can help to find out the cause of bicycle traffic accidents in the Budapest Police Headquarters and to reduce the number of accidents. In this paper the focus is on the Grand Boulevard in Budapest, highlighted the accidents on its Pest section.
