Abstract
When developing office space adjacent to major arterial roads the need to create a balance between an extrovert exterior and an introvert interior requires careful handling of volumes and functions. This development which comprises the corner part of an urban block's redevelopment aims to enclose a mincity within a city. Allowing freedom of movement at street level whilst maintaining privacy for commercial users. The built volumes and more specifically the use of elevational treatments clearly describe the play between, public, intermediate and private.
