Abstract

A Magyar Katonai- Katasztrófaorvostani Társaság (MKKOT) 1991. május 17-ei alakuló közgyűlésén a szakmai összetartozás kifejezésén túl a fiatal tudományterület fejlesztése volt a célunk. Jelen tanulmányban pedig a katona-egészségügy tudományos bázisát adó szervezet történetének áttekintésére, a nagy elődökhöz méltó szellemi örökségének összegzésére vállalkoztunk a jövő katona- és katasztrófaorvosai számára. Az áttekintés a Társaság irattárában található dokumentumokra alapoz, gerincét az összesen 23 konferencia, a több mint 10 tudományos ülés, az alapszabály 9 alkalommal történő módosítása adja, de jól nyomon követhető benne a taglétszám ingadozása, a katona-egészségügyet érintő átszervezésekre érzékenyen reagáló tagság diskurzusa, az egymást követő elnökségek építő munkája, vagyis a három évtizedes működés, az MKKOT teljes históriája. = The Society of Hungarian Military and Disaster Medicine (MKKOT) was founded in 1991. In addition to professional affiliation with it, we have aimed at reviewing the development and changes that took place over the decades in this young field of science. We wanted to specifically look back at those scientific sessions of MKKOT that involved renewal of the leadership of our society, in order to record their legacy for the next generations of colleagues. Our survey summarizes the spiritual legacy of our great predecessors through analysis of a total 23 conferences, more than 10 scientific sessions and 9 amendments to the Terms of Reference of our society. We have inspected the reasons of fluctuating membership and can testify the responsiveness of MKKOT to transformations in military medicine through activities of the society. We summarize the work of different presidencies of our society which are recorded in documents of different quality. We want to give you an insight into the 30 year history of MKKOT.
