Abstract
The studied beech forest is situated in south-west Hungary. This paper describe the surveyed forest stand and try to introducing the influence of applied forest management method. The analysis use phytosociological characters, flora elements, life forms and social behaviour types of plant species. The composition of herb layer was changed in the steps of regeneration cutting.
