Abstract

A Szociáldemokrata Párt elnöke (PSD), Marcel Ciolacu által vezetett új román kormány politikája a jövő évi választások előtt nacionalista fordulatot vett, ami – a pénzügyi tárcák megszerzése mellett – a fő oka annak, hogy a két nagy párt kiszorította a koalícióból az RMDSZ-t. Az államháztartás védelme és az állampolgárok vásárlóerejének megőrzése érdekében a kormány az infláció csökkentésére törekszik, melynek érdekében elsődleges célul tűzte ki a pénzügyek újrakalibrálását az oktatás és az egészségügy területén, valamint a köz- és magánberuházások növelését az európai alapok masszív felhasználásával. „Azért küzdünk, hogy a románok ne legyenek többé Európa modern rabszolgái az EU legalacsonyabb keresetével” – hirdeti a PSD kormányprogramja. A modern rabszolgasággal kapcsolatos kijelentést lehet euroszkeptikusnak is felfogni, de ezen túlmenően a program politikailag korrekt módon kipipálja Románia főbb külpolitikai irányvonalait, ami az EU, az USA és a NATO referenciapontjaihoz igazodik. A kormány a jövő évi négy választási fordulóra készül. = The new Romanian government led by Social Democratic Party (PSD) President Marcel Ciolacu has taken a nationalist turn ahead of next year’s elections, and this along with the acquisition of finance-related ministries, is the main reason why the two major parties have crowded the Hungarian party out of the coalition. The government’s objectives are to reduce inflation in order to protect public finances and preserve the purchasing power of Romanians; to recalibrate finances in education and health; and to increase public and private investment through massive use of European funds. “We are fighting to stop Romanians being the modern slaves of Europe, with the lowest wages in the EU”, proclaims the PSD government program. The statement about modern slavery can be taken as Eurosceptic, but beyond that the program ticks off Romania’s main foreign policy guidelines in a politically correct way: convergence to the reference points of the EU, the U.S. and NATO. The government is preparing for four rounds of elections next year.
