Abstract

Lucrarea de față oferă o înțelegere a memoriei comunicative în era digitală, în cadrul analitic al teoriei sociale elaborate de Hartmut Rosa. Folosind conceptele de accelerare socială, rezonanță și incontrolabilitate, scopul meu este să înțeleg consecințele sociale și culturale ale transformării digitale, precum și efectele lor asupra producției și a gestionării suvenirurilor. Comparând modul în care memoria a fost formulată, comunicată și conservată în oralitate, în alfabetizarea analogică și digitală, detaliez accelerarea producției de memorie și (in)controlabilitatea obiectelor de memorie externalizate digital. The present paper offers an understanding on communicative memory in the digital age within the analytical framework of Hartmut Rosa’s social theory. Applying the concepts of social acceleration, resonance and (un)controllability my aim is to comprehend the social and cultural implications of the digital turn, its impacts on the production and treatment of memory objects. Comparing how memory was formulated, communicated, and preserved in orality, analogue and digital literacy, I elaborate on the acceleration of the production of memory and the (un)controllability of the digitally externalized objects of memory.
