Abstract

A tanulmány a 2023-as montenegrói elnök- és parlamenti választás előzményeit, eredményeit és lehetséges következményeit mutatja be. Az idei megmérettetések az utolsó olyan erőpróbának tekinthetők, amelyen a nyugat-balkáni országot 1991 óta kormányzó Montenegrói Szocialisták Demokratikus Pártja komolyabb esélyekkel indult. Az elnökválasztás nemcsak a kiemelt tétje, de az elmúlt években folyamatosan tapasztalt kormányzati válság miatt is fontos eseménynek számított Montenegró életében. Az új elnök, Jakov Milatović és pártja a választás eredményeként az ország meghatározó erejévé lépett elő, ami a 2023. júniusi parlamenti választásokat is befolyásolta. The study presents the background, results, and possible consequences of the 2023 presidential and parliamentary elections in Montenegro. These challenges could be the last contests in which the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro, which has governed the Western Balkan country since 1991, had a serious chance of reacheng a position. The presidential election is considered an important event in the life of Montenegro, not only because of the high stakes involved, but also because of the governance crisis that has been kept under the surface in recent years. The new president, Jakov Milatović, and his party have emerged as the dominant force in Montenegro, with the potential to influence the parliamentary elections in June 2023.
