Abstract
Five representative potshards collected from the Tăşnad-Sere C52 archaeological site were investigated in order to evaluate the occurring differences of the raw materials used and the technology applied. The structural and compositional differ nces shown by petrographic analysis (optical microscopy /OM/ and XRD) and FTIR spectroscopy data indicate that according to both the raw materials composition (clay sediments and temper) and the pottery technique the samples studied form two distinct groups.
