Abstract
A 1957-ben, a hidegháború során a szovjet Szputnyik-1 és Szputnyik-2 műholdak sikeres és az USA Vanguard műholdjának sikertelen fellövéséről szóló hírek vezettek a Szputnyik-sokk-ként ismertté vált jelenséghez. A Szputnyik-sokk társadalmi, gazdasági, világpolitikai hatása mellett serkentő hatást gyakorolt az intelligencia, a kreativitás és általában véve a tehetség kutatására, illetve az oktatás modernizációjára. Jelen tanulmány ennek történetét foglalja össze. | In 1957, during the Cold War, news about the successful launch of the Soviet Sputnik- 1 and Sputnik-2 satellites and the unsuccessful launch of the US Vanguard satellite led to the phenomenon known as the Sputnik shock. In addition to the social, economic, and world political impact of the Szputnyik shock, it had a stimulating effect on the research of intelligence, creativity, and talent in general, as well as on the modernization of education. This study summarizes its history.
