Abstract

Faragó László munkássága kiemelkedő hozzájárulás a területi tervezés elméleti-módszertani hátteréhez és a jövőkutatással való kapcsolatának kutatásához. Gondolatébresztőként e kapcsolat néhány – a hazai gyakorlat alapján – kritikusnak tekintett pontját veti fel a tanulmány. A jövőalkotás társadalomtechnikája nem csak a tervezés, hanem a jövő tényleges alakítása a tervek kivitelezése és a folyamat menedzsmentje is az. Ennek jelentősége a participatív jövőkutatás és tervezés, az öntanuló rendszerként való működés terjedésével növekszik. | László Faragó’s contribution to studying theoretical-methodological background of territorial planning and its relation to futures studies is outstanding. This paper discusses several critical aspects of this relationship based on Hungarian experiences for raising ideas. Not only planning is the social technology of creating the future, but the practical formation, the implementer of plans, and the management of implementation, too. This is gaining growing importance by the emergence and distribution of participative futures studies and planning.
