Abstract
The pastors of the Reformed Diocese of Komárom, which was part of the Transdanubian Reformed Church District, started their reading association in 1835 in order to enable themselves to read foreign periodicals and the latest theological, scientific and pedagogic books. Mostly pastors, teachers joined the association but lay people could become members too. The leadership consisted of four members. The library of the association was placed in Komárom, the central town of the county. After dealing with how the association was formed, the author publishes the rules of the Association (1835).
