Abstract

A félelem szerves része életünknek és mindennapjainknak. Enyhe megnyilvánulásoktól kezdve a fóbiáig számtalanszor találkozunk vele életünk során. Így nem csoda, ha az ember életösztönétől hajtva a háborús körülmények között félelmet tanúsít. Ennek egyik megnyilvánulása a történelem során, hogy a katonák szimulációkkal próbálták elkerülni a háborúval járó közvetlen életveszélyt. Az első világháború előtt és alatt már számos esetet feljegyeztek, melyek szerint a katonák igyekeznek a frontszolgálatot elkerülni. Jelen dolgozatban az első világháborús Magyar Királyságból mutatok be néhány példát ezek közül. Mindenekelőtt azonban le kell szögeznem, hogy a cikkben történelemkutatási szempontból vizsgálódom, így nem konkrét diagnosztika-, illetve reakcióelemzést mutatok be, hanem valós esetek bemutatásával igyekszem gazdagítani a félelemreakciók megjelenési formáinak irodalmát. Fear is an integral part of our everyday life. From mild manifestations to phobias, we encounter it countless times throughout our lives. Thus, it is no wonder that people, driven by their life instincts, show fear under wartime conditions. One manifestation of this throughout history is that soldiers used simulations in trying to avoid the direct danger of death associated with war. Before and during the First World War, many cases were recorded, according to which soldiers tried to avoid front-line service. In this paper I present some examples from the Kingdom of Hungary during the First World War. First of all, I must point out that I examine them from the viewpoint of historical research, so I do notot present a specific diagnosis or reaction analysis; rather, I try to enrich the forms of appearance of fear reactions by presenting real-world cases.
