Abstract
The research “Educating the audience in the digital space” explores the problem of efficiently adapting the traditional classical music concert into a digital setting. Based on my experiences working in a symphony orchestral environment, the result of a questionnaire conducted on a representative sample, and the views of internationally acclaimed experts in the field, new concept of musical activity in the digital space characterized by adaptation rather than reproduction has been developed. Through the creative functions of the audience education software, the user takes part in the interpretation process and becomes the recipient of fine music instead of simply listening to the concert.
