Abstract

This paper explains the basic methods of troubleshooting, maintenance and diagnostic of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems in the case of a flipper machine as an artificial industrial environment for educational purposes. The article deals with operation and servicing of industrial electro-pneumatic equipment and control systems, and shows methods how to avoid common mistakes and inefficiencies. In addition to the historical overview and practical application, hardware and software design procedures are also presented.
