Abstract

A teológiai tudás és ismeret – hasonulva más tudományterületekhez – manapság nagymértékben informatív adatmennyiség karakterét ölti a tudományos kutatás, de a teológiai képzés során is, adott esetben a teológiát művelő személynek a tevékenysége tárgyától való érdemi egzisztenciális áthatottsága nélkül. Hamvas Béla ezt a fajta felhalmozott szaktudást „pszeudoegzisztenciálisnak” nevezi. A szerző antologikus jellegű tanulmányában annak érzékeltetésére törekszik, hogy a modern értelemben vett szcientista jellegű teológiai tudás hogyan különbözik a valóditól a régebbi korok teológusainak szemében. Ugyanilyen perspektíva rajzolódik ki az istenismeret vonatkozásában az ószövetségi, a szinoptikus, a páli és a jánosi felfogás vizsgálata nyomán. = Theological knowledge and understanding, like in other disciplines, nowadays takes on the character of a largely informative set of data, both in scientific research and in theological education, in many cases without any meaningful existential impact of these studies on the theologian. Béla Hamvas calls this kind of accumulated expertise ’pseudo-existential’. In this anthological paper, the author presents how theological knowledge of a scientistic nature in the modern sense differs from the real one in the eyes of theologians of earlier times, and how the same perspective on the knowledge of God emerges from the Old Testament, the Synoptic, the Pauline and the Johannine understanding.
