Abstract
MTK Lantos Athletic Training Centre, Budapest, Hungary; Architects: Iván Nagy DLA, Benedek Sólyom DLA, Tamás Ábrahám And Gergely Kenéz. Constrained to a narrow development site this sports club had limited opportunities to develop facilities for indoor activities. Therefore, the idea of creating a linear development was the only available option. A logical design which takes maximum advantage of the use of portal frame systems to create clear span spaces ideal for sports.
