Abstract
A törvényerővel rendelkező szlovák helyesírási szabályzat szerint a magyar történelmi személynevek írásformáját a szlovák köznyelvi kiejtéshez és a szlovák ábécé betűihez kell igazítani. A tanulmány áttekinti a vonatkozó szabálypont keletkezésének előzményeit és következményeit, miközben az egyes szabálypontrészek következetlenségeit figyelembe véve konkrét példákon szemlélteti a szabály gyakorlati alkalmazásának problémáit. | According to the Slovak rules of orthography, which have the force of law, the spelling of Hungarian historical personal names must be adapted to the Slovak colloquial pronunciation and the Slovak alphabet. The paper reviews the background and the consequences of the creation of this rule, and then illustrates the practical application of the rule through concrete examples, taking into account the inconsistencies of the various subpoints of the rule.
