Abstract

Jelen tanulmány a Magyar Dolgozók Pártja egyetemi és főiskolai pártszervezeteinek létrejöttét és tevékenységét vizsgálja a párt mint szervezet belső működési mechanizmusainak tükrében. A szervezeti keretek és azok felsőoktatási környezetből fakadó sajátosságain, valamint a párt-szervezetek feladatértelmezésén és munkastílusán keresztül bemutatja, hogy a felsőoktatás szovjetizálásának helyi politikai irányításával megbízottak tevékenysége messze állt egy világos és érthető program hatékony kivitelezésétől. A pártszervezetek munkáját elsősorban a saját feladataikkal szembeni bizonytalanság, valamint az éberségi kampányok paranoid légköréből fakadó megszállott ellenségkeresés jellemezte. | The study examines the establishment and activities of the university and college party organisations of the Hungarian Working People’s Party in the light of the internal mechanisms of the party as an organisation. Through the organisational framework and its specificities arising from the higher education environment, as well as the interpretation of the tasks and the working style of the party organisations, it shows that the activities of those charged with the local political direction of the Sovietisation of higher education were far from being an effective implementation of a clear and comprehensible programme. The work of the party organisations was characterised by uncertainty about their own tasks and an obsessive search for enemies in the paranoid atmosphere of vigilance campaigns.
