Abstract

This article explores the synergistic relationship between pedagogical mentoring andartificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing teacher development. As education rapidly evolvesin the digital age, teachers face increasing demands for adaptive teaching strategies andtechnological fluency. Pedagogical mentoring remains a critical tool in bridging the gapbetween theory and practice, offering emotional support, reflective growth, and practicalguidance to novice educators. Simultaneously, AI introduces scalable, data-driven toolsthat personalize learning and offer real-time feedback. When integrated, AI andmentoring provide a multifaceted approach to professional development that leveragesboth human empathy and technological precision. AI supports mentors with analyticsand administrative automation, while mentors contextualize and humanize the data, ensuring meaningful, ethical application. This hybrid model fosters a culture ofcontinuous improvement, reflective practice, and evidence-based instruction, essential in21st-century education. Ultimately, the article argues that AI should not replace mentorsbut rather empower them in cultivating responsive, innovative, and resilient educators.
