Abstract

Bő ötven éve került elő a hazai régészet egyik legemblematikusabb leletegyüttese, a budavári gótikus szoborcsoport. Jelen tanulmány a korábbi, régészeti és művészettörténeti fókuszú kutatások többségével ellentétben, a szobrok töredékességét helyezi előtérbe. Ezen belül példákat hoz arra, hogy az eddigi múzeumi diskurzusban (ideértve a kiállításokat, tanulmányokat, művészeti interpretációkat) milyen módokon jelent meg a szobrok torzó jellege. Majd pedig, Bruno Latour munkásságára támaszkodva, megalapoz egy újszerű olvasatot is, amely a torzókat a kortárs műalkotásokkal, a poszthumanizmussal és végül az antropocénnel kapcsolja össze. | One of the most emblematic finds in Hungarian archaeology, the Gothic Buda Castle sculpture group, was discovered over fifty years ago. In contrast to most previous archaeological and art history-focused research, this study emphasizes the fragmentary nature of the sculptures, while also providing examples of the ways in which the torso nature of sculptures has appeared in museum discourse (including exhibitions, studies, and artistic interpretations) to date. Inspired by the work of Bruno Latour, the author also establishes a novel reading that connects torsos to contemporary artworks, post-humanism, and ultimately the Anthropocene.
