Abstract

The article examines the possibilities of national minority representation in Slovakia, using data from the general elections in 2016, 2020, and 2023. The article first analyzes the electoral performance of national minority parties, and the number of votes they received. Additionally, it explores how candidates who self-identify/identified as members of a national minority, but who did not primarily run on the list of a party representing their own minority, performed in the last three parliamentary elections.
