Abstract
Tanulmányomban a második világháború végi Szentes mindennapjairól, a front átvonulásáról, a szovjet megszállásról, valamint annak a városban és hozzá csatlakozó külterületein elkövetett atrocitásokról adok áttekintést egészen az 1944-es év végéig, mivel ekkortól kezd el az élet lassan normalizálódni. | In my study, I give a brief overview of the everyday life of Szentes at the end of World War II, as well as I discuss the march of the front, the Soviet occupation and the atrocities committed in the town and its suburbs until the end of 1944 when life slowly began to normal. In addition to the municipal offices, the political parties and trade unions were also re-established. I intend to complete my writing with further archival research in the future.
