Abstract

The current climate crisis poses an urgent need to raise people's awareness to promote a socio cultural transition towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyles. In this case, technological innovation becomes a tool to support this change by designing interactive experiences that promote social education for sustainable development. Starting from this, the contribution presents the outcomes of an experimental and participatory workshop that uses the Sustainable Interaction Design (SIxD) approach, for the development of design solutions, capable of increasing people's knowledge, values and attitudes, in order to encourage them to adopt pro-environmental behaviours, through experiential learning and interaction.
