Abstract

The efficient processing of multiple analog signals in real time is a critical challenge in modern electronic systems, particularly in applications requiring high bandwidth, low latency, and low power consumption. This paper presents a comparative study of electronics architectures for simultaneous analog signal processing, with a focus on the conceptual design trade-offs between digital, analog, and hybrid approaches. Several implementation strategies are evaluated, including FPGA-based reconfigurable digital logic, FPAA-based adaptive ana-log computation, microcontroller-centric designs with integrat-ed peripherals, and mixed architectures combining analog multiplexers, comparators, ADCs, and DACs. The analysis highlights the strengths and limitations of each paradigm. The results underline the importance of selecting architecture ac-cording to system-level requirements and suggest future direc-tions for hybrid reconfigurable platforms that combine the programmability of digital logic with the efficiency of analog signal domains.
