Abstract

A kosárlabda egy olyan sportág, amelyben kiemelkedő fontossággal bír a szimmetria. A siker érdekében elengedhetetlen, hogy a játékosok egyenrangúan tudják végrehajtani a labdás technikai elemeket a domináns és a nem domináns kézzel is, jellemzően a közeli dobásokat (például: fektetett dobás), a labdavezetést és az átadásokat. Kutatásunk célja a kosárlabda oktatás során a domináns és nem domináns oldal fejlesztésének sorrendi fontosságának vizsgálata volt, a fektetett dobás és labdavezetés során. A vizsgálatban összesen 45 jobb kezes, a kosárlabdát először tanuló gyermek vett részt. A fektetett dobásnál 21 tizenhárom éves leányt, míg a labdavezetés esetében összesen 24 nyolcéves gyermeket (9 fiú, 15 leány) vizsgáltunk. A fektetett dobás méréséhez a gyermekeknek „egyleütés ziccert” kellett dobniuk a büntető sarokról indulva, míg a labdavezetés esetén egy 2x15 méteres pályát kellett időre teljesíteniük. Az eredmények alapján szignifikáns különbség mutatkozott a fektetett dobás mérése során, ahol az a csoport, amelyben a nem domináns kezükkel tanulták először a fektetett dobás technikáját, jobb teljesítményt mutatott a vizsgálat utolsó mérésén a nem domináns oldalon a kontrollcsoporthoz képest, míg a domináns oldali teljesítményük megegyezett. Azonban a labdavezetés oktatása és mérése során nem volt megfigyelhető hatása a sorrendiségnek. Véleményünk szerint, a mért adatok alapján mindenképpen megfontolandó lenne a fektetett dobás tanítását a nem domináns kézzel kezdeni, mivel ezen módszert alkalmazva végeredményképpen jelentősen jobb eredmény figyelhető meg a nem domináns oldali teljesítményben, míg a domináns oldali teljesítményben nincs különbség. | Basketball is a sport where symmetry plays a crucial role. Success in the game requires players to execute technical elements equally well with their dominant as well as their non-dominant hand, especially in close-range shots (e.g., layups), dribbling, and passing. The aim of our research was to examine the sequential importance of developing the dominant and non-dominant sides during basketball education, in layup shots and dribbling. A total of 45 right-handed children participated in the study, all learning basketball for the first time. For the layup practice, 21 thirteen-year-old girls were assessed, while for the dribbling exercise, 24 eight-year-old children (9 boys, 15 girls) were evaluated. To assess layup shooting, children were required to shoot a layup from the free-throw corner, while to analyze dribbling, their execution time was measured on a 2x15-meter track. The results showed a significant difference in the layup measurements, where the group that first learned the layup technique with their non-dominant hand performed better in the final test on the nondominant side compared to the control group, while their performance on the dominant side was the same. However, no observable differencewas found between the groups in dribbling performance. In our opinion, based on the measured data, it would be worth considering teaching layup shots starting with the non-dominant hand, as employing this method ultimately results in significantly better performance on the non-dominant side, while there is no difference in the dominant hand’s performance.
