Abstract

A kulturális ipar fogalma és a kreatív iparhoz való viszonyának megítélése az elmúlt évtizedekben alaposan átértékelődött. Ugyanígy változott a múzeumok társadalomban betöltött szerepe is. Modern felfogások szerint az örökség gazdaságilag is hasznos tényező, sőt alapvető esszenciája is a hasznosság. Ez azt jelenti, hogy a kulturális örökség egy részét őrző múzeumok stratégiáiban egyre inkább érvényesülnek gazdaságossági szem-pontok, és elfogadottá válik a menedzsment–szemlélet. Az, hogy a múzeumok menedzseri létszáma felduzzad, az intézmények humánerőforrás-struktúrája átformálódik és egyre többen dolgoznak az intézményműködtetés területén, számos feszültség forrása is. Ennek fő oka, hogy a múzeumokban relatíve kevesebb figyelem jut magukra a gyűjteményekre. Az ellentmondás azonban csak látszólagos, hiszen olyan alaptevékenységek, mint például a tudományos feldolgozás, illetve a dokumentáció – amellett, hogy gyűjtemények feldolgozásának nélkülözhetetlen elemét jelentik – olyan tar-talmak előállítását is lehetővé teszik, melyek egyúttal a múzeumok piaci jelenlétét is erősítik. Egymásra épülő struktúrákról van tehát szó. A Soproni Múzeum stratégiája abba az irányba mutat, hogy az intézmény képes legyen felvenni a versenyt a szórakoztató ipar attrakcióival oly módon, hogy adottságai révén ezt a legmagasabb színvonalon végezze, közben pedig ko-moly szerepet töltsön be az oktatásban, és a társadalmi kohézió erősítésében is. Mindez átalakíthatja az intézményi finanszírozás gyakorlatát, szélesítve a bevételtermelő technikák palettáját. | The concept of the cultural industry and the assessment of its relationship to the creative industry have been thoroughly re-evaluated over the past decades. Likewise, the role that museums play in society has also changed. According to modern approaches, heritage is a factor that can also be exploited economically – indeed, its usefulness is considered a fundamental essence. This means that economic considerations are increasingly present in the strategies of museums that preserve part of the cultural heritage, and a management-oriented approach is becoming accepted. The fact that the number of managers in museums is swelling, the human resources structure of institutions is being reshaped, and more and more people are working in the field of institutional operation is also a source of tension. The main reason for this is that relatively less attention is devoted to the collections themselves. However, the contradiction is only apparent, since core activities – such as scholarly processing and documentation, which are indispensable elements of processing collections – also make it possible to produce content that strengthens the market presence of museums. We are therefore talking about interdependent structures. The strategy of the Sopron Museum points in the direction of enabling the institution to compete with the attractions of the entertainment industry in such a way that, by virtue of its inherent attributes, it does so at the highest possible standard, while at the same time playing a significant role in education and in strengthening social cohesion. All this may transform how institutions are financed, broadening the range of revenue-generating techniques.
