Abstract
The study aims to examine the political and social-economic causes of the students-led protests in Serbia, which began in November 2024 after the collapsing of the rooftop in railway station in Novi Sad (Újvidék). The author seeks to highlight the role of post-socialist transition and neoliberal counterrevolution in the uprising, emphasizing the role of university occupations.
