Abstract

A magyar helyesírás szabályai 12. kiadása éppen 10 éve jelent meg. A tanulmány az új kiadás egyik változását próbálja nyomon követni: a -féle, -fajta, -szerű utótagokat önálló összetételi tagnak minősíti az új szabályzat, ezért a helyesírási szabályzat előző, 11. kiadása szerinti, igen gyakran előforduló *ésszerű szóalak helyes írásmódja ma már az észszerű forma. Tanulmányomban ennek a változásnak a helyesírási gyakorlatba való beépülését, valamint az egyszerűsítés helyesírási alapelvének általános érvényesülését kutatom helyesírási teszt segítségével. | This study investigates the impact of a specific rule change introduced in the 12th edition of A magyar helyesírás szabályai (The Rules of Hungarian Orthography), which reclassifies suffixes such as -féle, -fajta, and -szerű as independent compound elements. As a result, the formerly accepted spelling *ésszerű is now standardized as észszerű. Using a spelling test, the research examines the integration of this change into orthographic practice and explores the broader application of the principle of simplification in Hungarian spelling.
