Abstract

A kabaddi egy csapatjáték, amelyben nincsenek játékszerek, a mozgásformákat tekintve a birkózás és a rögbi leviteli technikái, a vívás, a kézilabda és a kosárlabda lábmunkája, a karate és a kickbox rúgásai, a csapatjátékok taktikai és stratégiai gondolkodása jellemzi. Ázsiában széles körben űzött modern sportjáték, 2025-ben már a 12. professzionális bajnokságot (PKL) szervezték meg, óriási stadionokban, száz milliók érdeklődése mellett. Ez a hiánypótló áttekintés feldolgozza a kabaddi sportág történetét, modern sportággá válás útját kezdetektől egészen napjainkig. | Kabaddi is a team game, in which there are no tools. In terms of forms of movement, it is characterized by the takedown techniques of wrestling and rugby, the footwork of fencing, handball and basketball, the kicks of karate and kickboxing, and the tactical and strategic thinking of team games. It is a modern sports game widely played in Asia, of which the 12th professional championship (PKL) was organized in 2025, in huge stadiums, with the interest of hundreds of millions. This is a gap-filling study, it deals with the history of the Kabaddi sport, its path to becoming a modern sport from the beginning to the present day.
