Abstract
| The text of the Bible did not fall from heaven all at once: the text of the Hebrew Bible and the Greek New Testament is the result of a long process, and is still used today in different versions and many languages - and it is not at all easy to answer, which text should be considered authentic. And the religious message of the Bible was transmitted not only through translations, but also through other genres, such as revisions and paraphrases. In my lecture I would like to give a brief sketch of this long historical language process.
