Abstract

Nem újdonság a külföldi gyerekek jelenléte a magyar közoktatásban, mégis csak az Ukrajna elleni háború 2022. 02. 24-i kitörését követően került a külföldi gyerekek iskolai integrációjának kérdése a figyelem fókuszába, amikor azzal szembesültünk, hogy a háború nem ér véget a következő tanévkezdésig, és a hazánkban menedéket talált gyerekeknek iskolába kell járniuk. Nincs központi integrációs stratégia, az intézmények a saját eszközeikkel és módszereikkel próbálják a magyarul nem beszélő gyerekeket segíteni a magyar oktatásba történő integrációban, amihez sok esetben civil szervezetek nyújtanak szakmai támogatást. Jelen tanulmányban bemutatjuk, hogy milyen szükségletek és igények merülnek fel egy magyar nyelven nem beszélő tanuló érkezésekor, milyen nehézségek adódnak, és milyen lehetőségek vannak az inklúzió támogatására. Kitérünk a Menedék Egyesület szakmai tapasztalataira és megosztunk olyan jó gyakorlatokat, amelyek hasznosak lehetnek a külföldieket fogadó pedagógusok, intézmények számára. | The presence of foreign children in Hungarian education is not a new phenomenon, still it has come into the focus of attention after the outbreak of the war against Ukraine on 24.02.2022, when people realized that the war will not end by the beginning of the following school year, so refugee children had to go to school. There is no governmental strategy for integration: schools are trying to help children with their own particular tools and methods in the integration process, often with the professional support of NGOs. In this study, we present the needs and demands that arise when a nonHungarian-speaking student arrives, the difficulties that arise, and the possibilities for supporting inclusion. We share the professional experiences of the Menedék Association and the good practices that may be useful for teachers and institutions hosting foreigners.
