Abstract

A dolgozat a politikai realizmus mint politikaelméleti fogalom tartalmát hivatott körbejárni, reflektálva a kortárs politikaelméleti diskurzus realista fordulatára és az angolszász politikai realizmus iránt tanúsított, utóbbi években egyre fokozódó nemzetközi figyelem esetleges okaira. A politikai realizmus fogalmi meghatározását a politikai tudással, politikai valósággal, politikai cselekvéssel és politikai utópiával ápolt kapcsolatának fényében kívánom bemutatni, rávilágítva a realizmus antimoralista és antiutópista vonásaira egyaránt. A hazai és nemzetközi szakirodalom áttekintése mellett így definíciós törekvéssel élve helyezem el a politikaelmélet zárt rendszerében a politikai realizmus fogalmát, mint egy, a politika autonómiáját hirdető, a politikai tudás gyakorlati fókuszára támaszkodó gondolati beállítódást, amelynek elsődleges küldetése a politika sajátos eszközeinek és céljainak figyelembevételével a politikaelmélet és a gyakorlati politikai cselekvés között fellelhető ellentmondások áthidalása. E síkon száll vitába a politikai moralizmus és a politikai utópizmus idealizmusával és teremti meg sajátos politikaképét, amelyben a hatalom, a legitimitás, a rend és a cselekvés kiemelt fogalmakká válnak. I The paper aims to explore the content of political realism as a concept in political theory, reflecting on the realist turn in contemporary political theory discourse and the possible reasons for the increasing international attention to Anglo-Saxon political realism in recent years. I will present a conceptual definition of political realism in the light of its relationship to political knowledge, political reality, political action, and political utopia, highlighting both its anti-moralistic and anti-utopian features. In addition to a review of the domestic and international literature, I will attempt to define the concept of political realism as a way of placing it within the closed system of political theory, as a way of thinking that proclaims the autonomy of politics, that relies on the practical focus of political knowledge, and that has as its primary mission the bridging of the contradictions between political theory and political action in practice, taking into account the specific means and ends of politics. It is on this plane that he contests the idealism of political moralism and political utopianism and creates his own political image, in which power, legitimacy, order and action become prominent concepts.
