Abstract

Eger kiemelkedő turisztikai központként jelentős látogatói forgalmat és gazdasági spillover-hatást generál. Ez a környező kisebb települések, így Egercsehi számára is, potenciális bevételi lehetőséget teremtenek a helyi turizmusba való bekapcsolódás révén. Jelenleg azonban Egercsehi nem képes ezeket a lehetőségeket kellő mértékben kihasználni. A kutatás célja a település bekapcsolódási potenciáljának feltérképezése, különös tekintettel a turisztikai szempontból fontos helyi infrastruktúra adottságaira és a lakossági fogadókészségre. A vizsgálatokhoz szükséges adatgyűjtés kérdőíves felmérés révén és települési statisztikai adatbázisok felhasználásával történt. Az infrastrukturális feltételek értékeléséhez elsősorban a Bennett-módszert alkalmaztam, míg a lakossági vélemények feldolgozását leíró statisztikai módszerekkel végeztem. Az eredmények megalapozzák a helyi turizmus fejlesztésének tervezését. | Eger functions as a leading center of tourism, generating significant visitor traffic and economic spillover effects. These effects present potential opportunities for surrounding smaller settlements, including Egercsehi, to integrate into the local tourism ecosystem. At present, Egercsehi is not able to fully capitalize on these opportunities. The objective of this study is to assess the settlement’s integration potential, particularly considering tourism-relevant infrastructure and residents’ willingness to engage in tourism activities. Data collection was carried out using surveys and municipal statistical records. The Bennett Method was applied to assess infrastructural capacities, while descriptive statistical analyses were used to process residents’ responses. Findings contribute to guiding the planning and management of local tourism.
