Abstract

A tanulmány a vonalat mint képalkotó vizuális elemet vizsgálja egy meghatározott logika mentén: olyan műveken keresztül mutatja be a vonal szerepét, ahol a vonal elsősorban önmagát jelenti és nem ábrázol, hanem megjelenít. Paul Klee és Lantos Ferenc könyve alapján bemutatja a vonal eredetét és mibenlétét. „Egy cselekvő pont sétára indul…” Az írás ezután a vonal karakterével, struktúrateremtő tulajdonságával, téralakító képességével foglalkozik. Konkrét példák ismertetésével szemlélteti a leírt gondolatmenetet. A bemutatott alkotások Vera Molnar, Bridget Riley, Egle Anita és a szerző saját művei. | This study examines the line as an image-forming visual element according to a specific logic: it illustrates the role of the line through works in which the line primarily signifies itself and does not depict, but rather manifests. Drawing on the works of Paul Klee and Ferenc Lantos, it explores the origin and nature of the line. “An active point sets out on a walk…” The text then explores the character of the line, its structure-creating properties, and its ability to shape space. It illustrates the line of thought described through concrete examples. The works presented are by Vera Molnar, Bridget Riley, Anita Egle, and the author himself.
