Abstract
This study focuses on the observation and interpretation of the Trump administrations' migration policies and their economic and social implications from the perspective of the twin cities of Nogales. The history of migration between the United States of America and Latin-America is deeply rooted and can be traced back for centuries. The information derived from this could provide a comprehensive picture of the practical functioning and everyday life of the migration’s focal points, as well as the relocation of the migration centres. Furthermore, it also points out the important economic interlinkages and the significant consequences that political/geopolitical regulations have for the region. Understanding the twin cities of Nogales’ situation could be a great guidance to shed the light on reality and to comprehend Donald Trump’s migration policy more thoroughly.
