Abstract
This paper delves into the evolving landscape of welding robotics, particularly the integration of adaptive control strategies for optimising human-robot interaction. Collaborative robotics (cobotics) underscores the significance of adaptive control for secure effective and safe cooperation between humans and robots in welding tasks. Past research highlights optimisation techniques such as model-based optimization and genet ic algorithms, alongside adaptive control strategies that dynamically adjust parameters based on real-time feedback. These advancements promise enhanced safety, efficiency, and competitiveness in industrial weld ing automation.
