Abstract
Manual laser welding equipment is increasingly used in industry. Unfortunately, the safety regulation of this equipment is not yet fully developed, and in this paper, the authors have attempted to provide a summary study of the safety classes and current standards for laser welding equipment. The harmful effects of laser radiation on the human body (skin, eyes) and the environment are described. The authors also provide pro tection recommendations on the need to signal the dangers and how to avoid them and summarise the most important rules in ten points.
