Abstract
2021. július 27. és július 29. között a Budapesti Történeti Múzeum régészeti megfigyelést végzett a Budapest, I. kerület, Kapisztrán tér területén ELMŰ kábelfektetési építési munkáinál. A kivitelezés során egy keskeny árkot ástak, amelyben a modern útrétegek alatt régészeti réteg került elő. (1. kép) Ez a középkori Szt. Mária Magdolna templom temetőjének földjével volt azonosítható (Szebeni – Végh 2002). | Between July 27 and 29, 2021, the Budapest History Museum conducted archaeological monitoring during cable-laying works by ELMŰ (Budapest Electric Works) at Kapisztrán Square in District I, Budapest. During the construction, a narrow trench was excavated in which, beneath the modern road layers, an archaeological layer was found. (Fig. 1) This layer could be identified as the soil of the cemetery of the medieval St Mary Magdalene Church (Szebeni – Végh 2002).
