Abstract
A dolgozat a hazai vásárlók globális konvergenciával kapcsolatos értéktérképét empirikus módszerrel, online felmérésen keresztül sokváltozós statisztikai módszerrel, multidimenzionális skálázással vizsgálta. | Despite the central role that food plays for humanity, consumers tend to know very little about it. This paper examines the relationship between the local food system's consumer and globally perceived factors. Because of the increasing complexity of the distance between the players of the system in the global food system. The disconnection creates gaps in understanding the environmental impact of our food systems food separates customers from production and sales locations not only geographically but also mentally. The separation of food and place is a major challenge for sustainability. Consumers with the right knowledge and tools could be powerful drivers of social change . The paper examined the value map of Hungarian customers with regard to global convergence by using an empirical method and an online survey with multidimensional scaling method. Measuring the distances between the perception of economic and non-economic global phenomenas has enabled the recognition of the order of values. The paper reveals that perception distances may be the cause of the lack of awareness of individual market players, products and services.
