Abstract
The present article analyses the strong relationshi p between communication, language and translation i n the 21 st century. We can mention both the diversification o f communication and the diversification of translat ion. The (r)evolution in the translation industry, simil arly to machine translation and computer assisted t ranslation – has had beneficial effect upon cultural translation s as well in order to facilitate a more effective c ommunication. Apparently globalization and localization are among the most important words nowadays, and o ur paper formulates the question whether glocalization may happen via translation to serve communication.
